Process and timeline
This funding round is a two-stage process.
Stage 1:
Expressions of Interest (EOI) – open to all eligible organisations:
Tuesday 3 March to Tuesday 17 March 2026 (4:00pm AEDT).
- Eligible organisations must submit a grant application via the Greater Melbourne Foundation Grants Portal. Instructions and portal-related resources can be found at the bottom of this page.
- All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their EOI via email prior to Stage 2.
- Following this EOI stage, full proposals are by invitation only.
Stage 2:
Full proposal – invitation only:
Thursday 2 April to Monday 27 April 2026.
- Full proposals will be reviewed by the Foundation’s Impact Team and an Advisory Panel, designed to share technical and community-informed advice to inform and shape recommendations.
Funding notification:
Final recommendations will be shared with the Greater Melbourne Foundation Board for approval, and all applicants will be notified of the funding outcome in late June 2026.
