Swanson Society – for future-focused people like you
When you share your intention to leave a gift in your Will, you will receive an invitation to join the Swanson Society. The society was named in honour of Sir John Swanson, Melbourne’s Lord Mayor from 1920-1923 and a visionary thinker, businessman and philanthropist. Sir John Swanson established the Lord Mayor’s Fund for Metropolitan Hospitals and Charities in 1923 – which evolved into the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation and is today known as Greater Melbourne Foundation.

As a member of the Society, you will have the opportunity to participate in regular events, connect with other supporters, and experience how your generosity is building a fairer tomorrow.
