Centring human rights in Australia’s laws

The Human Rights Law Centre has been leading the call for an Australian Human Rights Act since 2018. Greater Melbourne Foundation has provided funding support since 2018 to progress the campaign to ensure shared values such as equality, respect, justice, and compassion are at the heart of Australia’s laws.
