At the annual Impact100 Melbourne Showcase & Selection Event held at the For Purpose Hub, guests and members celebrated this year's four shortlisted organisations, Kensington Neighbourhood House; Maribyrnong and Moonee Valley Local Learning and Employment Network; Future Fit – a collaboration from Ready Set and Big Group Hug; and Servants Community Housing. The event was an opportunity for Impact100 Melbourne members, guests and representatives from the shortlisted organisations to be immersed in the joy of collective giving. Guests were able to talk to the four organisations about the work they undertake to improve the lives of young people, people experiencing homelessness and migrant communities. At the end of the event, it was announced by advisory committee members Rikki Andrews and Rich Brown that Maribyrnong and Moonee Valley Local Learning and Employment Network (mmvllen) received the 2025 Impact100 Melbourne grant of $80,000. As a special addition, it was also announced that all four organisations would receive a capacity-building package through Benefolk Foundation's network of specialists. Lorena Rios, Maribyrnong and Moonee Valley Local Learning and Employment Network (mmvllen) said, “We are very grateful. Thank you again and keep doing what you are doing and keep supporting community. There are so many organisations doing a great job and today we are privileged to receive this $80,000 grant. Let’s connect. Let’s continue to build a better society and a better community for everyone.” Rikki Andrews, said, “A sincere thank you to Impact100 Melbourne members, the advisory committee, and all of our supporters for your generosity and engagement this year. “We look forward to growing this momentum in 2026 and beyond - join Impact100 Melbourne today and share in the joy of collective giving.” You can learn more and join Impact100 Melbourne today at impact100melbourne.org.au
